Overview:
The project consisted of Kingspan TEK structural shell, steelwork incorporated to facilitate large spans and retractable glazed wall and a usable flat roof space.
Having assisted in the pre-tender design development for this new sports pavilion, Bentley SIP Systems were named subcontractors for the structural shell.
Incorporating structural steel within the SIP structure facilitated fully retractable glazing and open plan function spaces.
Sports pavilion including open plan function / catering space, enclosed changing and storage areas and a usable deck on the roof.
The outcome is a stylish, contemporary space – Using the Kingspan TEK system the pavilion provides a flexible and robust space for sporting events whilst being economical to heat and very low maintenance.
