Robertson Timber Engineering has been providing off site solutions for over 35 years. During this time, we have worked with a range of clients forming partnerships with major house builders whilst maintaining our clients in all sectors including Education, Healthcare, Leisure & Hospitality, Commercial, Residential and Schools.
Concentrating now on core business activities involving the design, manufacture and supply of timber frame structures to Robertson’s Residential Group which will be done through our existing factory in Elgin.
The flexibility of timber frame technology has allowed RTE to successfully supply a broad spectrum of clients, with a wide range of products and solutions to meet their different requirements in a range of sectors.

Our core business activities involve the design, manufacture, supply, and erection of timber frame structures to clients across the UK and in doing so our Managing Director, Mike Turner who has been with Robertson for 30-years and RTE for the last 5 years, is projecting a substantial growth over the coming years. We have an existing factory in Elgin and more recently opened our second factory in Seaham to allow for the increase in volume in the UK market. We are looking forward to seeing both sites thrive to accommodate the growth over the coming years.
