C.S. Todd & Associates Ltd. (CSTA) is a practice of independent fire consultants. Formed in 1982, we specialize solely in fire safety and fire engineering.
We are able to carry out assessments of the risk of fire spread from timber framed construction fires and determine the category of frame. Using advanced computer modelling, we are able to provide a more refined analysis to supplement that of the STA guidance and BR187 to provide tailored solutions, including using mixed frames.
Being independent of any manufacturer, supplier or installer, we are able to offer unbiased opinion on all aspects of fire safety. The practice is certificated by the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) under the UKAS accreditated scheme for companies that carry out fire risk assessments, BAFE SP205.
