Established in 1996, by Bob Johnson, as a sole practitioner; located within Shrewsbury town centre, Bob set out to provide Engineering services to Shropshire and Mid Wales.

We have gradually grown as a group, developing our design skills in all forms of building structures; this knowledge of mechanics and materials combined with a good understanding of construction methods enables us to Engineer buildings in a way that ensures that the solutions we provide are practical, economical and most importantly stand up.

We provide a wide range of services from design of individual elements, to complete engineering support for larger projects. Over the years we have been able to work on a variety of projects from the contemporary to the historic. We recognise that each project is bespoke and that each client has different expectations, we also know that everybody sets out to provide the perfect service and that is our intention however we are realistic and admit that expectations can’t always be met – but we try our best.

Our location in a rural county has provided the opportunity for us to encounter a wide range of vernacular buildings and construction types. This experience combined with our knowledge of modern building techniques gives us the ability to adapt to each projects requirements and circumstances.
