We employ Architects to bring a high level of design philosophy to certain projects, if required. A prime example of this is where Eric Miralles, RIBA Stirling Prise Winner, was appointed to assist in the design of the public spaces at the Trinity Quarter in Leeds.

We advocate the partnering approach, which fundamentally relies upon team work.

To this end:

We seek to build and develop co-operative working relationships with all other members of the team.
Commit ourselves to achieving a Total Team approach with common objectives.
Distribute all relevant correspondence, and issue regular progress reports to ensure that all relevant parties remain fully conversant with budget, programme, progress and other significant matters.
Hold regular co-ordination / review meetings with the Client and other team members to provide a proactive response to the Client’s needs and set project goals.
Engage fully with all other team members in the Value Engineering process to achieve maximum economy consistent with the required standards of quality and durability.
Thus, a key principle of the practice is a ‘hands on’ approach, in which the direction and control of the architectural service offered on each project is maintained by a partner from Inception to Completion.
