Frame Technologies offer a wide range of timber frame services from full supply and erect packages to supply only. With an extensive product portfolio, we have developed award-winning structural timber systems that have the capability to exceed Building Regulations to deliver and, if the brief demands, the ultimate Passivhaus performance.

As a member of the Structural Timber Association, we follow industry best practice – our timber solutions are manufactured to exacting standards in our own factory in Presteigne, Wales. We have been independently audited for the Structural Timber Association’s membership and quality standards scheme, STA Assure, and were the first to achieve the ultimate Gold Standard Accreditation. As a responsible organisation, Frame Technologies are committed to sourcing timber from well managed forests with full traceability.

Each package can be tailored to include engineered timber products, roof systems and windows to fit your design specification. All our packages deliver premium quality and value with enhanced performance and safety together with impressive speed of installation and sustainability.

To address thermal bridging and air leakage, Frame Technologies has developed a breathable Closed Panel System, which is available as a standard or premium series. The standard series is based on a single panel system with U-Values from 0.18 – 0.23 W/m2k. The premium series is a development of our Twin Wall Frame system with U-Values ranging from 0.11 – 0.14 W/m2K using a standard 270mm deep panel. Both systems deliver excellent thermal and airtightness properties to ensure comfort in your self-build home and meet the energy efficiency specifications from architects and self-builders.

To maximise the potential of offsite manufactured timber systems, Frame Technologies prefer to get involved from the early design stages. Alongside supply only packages, we provide end-to-end services so that self-builders have a single point of contact throughout the design and construction journey – delivering projects on time and on budget.
