If STA members have direct employees or use bona fide sub-contractors who are contracted to work for them or legally responsible for them – it is a legal requirement to have valid Employers Liability Insurance.

It is a mandatory requirement for STA members to have Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance. If your company has this, please tick the box below and continue your application.

Mandatory Structural Timber Building System Supplier (STBSS) Member Audit

All new STBSS members of the Structural Timber Association are required to undergo a Business Management Systems Audit to complete the application process. In the interim, all new STBSS members will be listed as having ‘provisional membership’ status pending completion of the audit.

Audits are carried out by independent Business Management Systems consultants – the first of which will be provided by the STA free of charge. By applying, you agree to this audit taking place.
