Banyon Wharf - Wenlock Road

Ten storey Regal Homes residential development, Banyan Wharf - situated within the London borough of Hackney - has taken cross laminated timber (CLT) to new heights. Set to take the title of the tallest cross laminated timber residential building in Europe, Banyan Wharf is home to 50 one, two and three bedroom apartments – all sold off plan, prior to completion together with 1,190 square metres of commercial units.

In June 2012, Thames Valley Housing (TVH) welcomed the new residents of The Serpentine, its flagship affordable housing development in Aylesbury.  Stewart Milne Timber Systems, the UK’s leading provider of timber system building solutions, played a crucial role in this innovative project, from the initial design through to the supply and erection of the closed panel timber build system.  Advanced Facade Solution for Structural Timber Construction

A mixed use residential scheme that incorporates social housing and shared equity homes for first-time buyers. Panmure Street includes numerous building types from two and three bedroom town houses to five and even eight storey apartment blocks.
Taking its name from the historic use of the adjacent canal - the Timber Basin in Panmure Street will provide 108 new homes for Queens Cross Housing Association. The Panmure Street development in Glasgow demonstrates the benefits and versatility of using the Alumasc Ventilated System (AVS). On this scheme a closed panel, fully offsite manufactured solution was delivered, with only a small element of external onsite fabric work required.

Pasquill - Residential Project

Pasquill’s roof design solutions are bringing build costs down for Persimmon Homes at one of the developer’s sites at Weston-Super-Mare. ‘Rowan Fields’ is the location of a scheme of new-build apartments, which forms a phase of a range of property styles at the site. The development consists of a three storey building incorporating complex multiple roofs for which Pasquill has manufactured and supplied roof trusses, spandrel panels and ancillary timbers.

Stewart Milne Timber Systems - Residential Project

Stewart Milne Timber Systems’ innovative new build system, Sigma II, a fabric-first solution to create mass market Code Level Four homes, has been used to complete a development in Snettisham, Norfolk. The project consisted of 15 units of two-storey houses for Youngs Homes on behalf of Flagship Housing Developments. The aim was to achieve first-class energy saving insulation and air tightness, as well as cost-efficiencies in terms of offsite prefabrication. The solution they were looking for also had to be sufficiently adaptable to suit a variety of external finishes, window detailing and integration of services.

CCG (Scotland) - Residential Project

CCG (Scotland) Ltd in partnership with Parc Craigmillar Ltd, part of the EDI Group, successfully regenerated the site of the former Niddrie Mill Primary School, Edinburgh, through a stunning mix of Private for Sale and Affordable housing.

The former primary school held great historical significance to the local community of Niddrie Mill and the wider area of Craigmillar, and with that CCG were challenged with retaining as much of the building as possible.

Curtain Place, a mixed used commercial and residential scheme located in Shoreditch, East London, is a ground-breaking project in terms of height and mass. This six-story build is divided into three floors of office space and three of residential units, providing an outstanding example of how cross laminated timber (CLT) is being used in a growing number of structures.

The International Quarter, London

Located at the heart of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, the project will be a major new employment hub in East London, creating more than 25,000 jobs. Transport for London (TfL) has agreed to occupy the building, with their offices being located within the second part of this £2.1 billion development. Construction of the building started in summer 2015. The ambition for the project was to create a space with unrivalled connectivity for employees, business partners and customers as well as flexible, efficient and sustainable workspaces.


 
Bradford Care Home Project

Bradford Care Home Project

A new-build development near Bradford comprising apartments, dementia flats and a community day centre has presented Pasquill with a challenging roof truss project, thanks to its complicated rooflines on seven different levels.
